Jon Mark Lundell
About Me

Jon Mark Lundell is a highly respected and sought after producer, song-writer, drummer, bass-player, and singer. He has both engineered and produced a number of musical projects from rock to comedy, from punk to pop. Jon Mark has appeared with such diverse acts as Mother’s Finest, Marvelous 3, The Avett Brothers, Quiet Riot, Blue Cheer, Rehab, and The Blasters, to name only a few.

Jon Mark began his professional career at the tender age of 14 when his band, Mystery Motion changed their name to October and signed with Atlanta’s indy label, Dangerous Records, back in 1994. While still a teenager, he was recruited to play drums for Atlanta’s now-legendary Six Ways to Sunday which morphed into Weight of Days. During that same that time, he produced and performed with the Amazing Idiots on a number of comedy recordings (earning significant air-play), and his work was featured frequently on Atlanta’s 99X, while Jon Mark kept busy, touring the East.

After his early successes, Jon Mark followed with contributions to The Dirt Poets, GrooveBucket, and Hi-Test, among others. In 2005, he performed on a USO tour all over the middle east with Copasetic. He wrote the “20 Second Song;” the "FU Line" theme song for Atlanta’s 96 rock's Regular Guys Show, and wrote, recorded, and produced the album The Lundell Brothers – Back Together with his brother Jody. He is currently touring and performing with the uber-popular Seven Sharp Nine, while working on ongoing projects with the Burmese Crush and Dallas Doctor, and watch for his own solo punk album, coming soon.

Jon Mark has made his mark on Atlanta’s music scene as one of the most skilled, talented, and highly regarded musicians/engineers/producers in the area – ask anyone!
